"They" are keeping my money.

I paid them over $1800. for my Cuba and Key West cruise.The cruise was cancelled. I have talked to 3 different Represenatives /Supervisors fighting to get all of my money back. I've got most of it. Other bits of it are 'in processing' so I'm told. Now their latest issue is my round trip air fare. They're telling me "They" don't want to give it back to me because the flight was canceled? Who is "they" is Royal Caribbean "they" is Delta? I don't know who "they" is. I paid my money to Cheap Cruises. I want the full refund I was promised.

All has been resolved. Just needed send a copy of orders in to cheap cruises and MSC.

The company charged us $100 cancellation fee, $24.98 service fee, and $159 travel protection fee. The cruise line MSC charged us $198.

We did not want to cancel our trip. The trip was over 3 months away. We were really looking forward to it. However, we can not ignore active duty order received.

I was told the $198 fee and the $100 fee could be used against the balance of our next cruise when we book.

After this experience I will not be re-booking with either company nor would I recommend anyone else. It was not like we decided to not do the cruise.

My husband booked a cruise for us in celebration of my graduation. We had to cancel unfortunately due to active duty orders being received. Out of our hands. Airline, excursions, and hotels cancelled us without issue. Not cheap cruises though.

DO NOT AGREE TO TERMS YOU CAN'T/WON'T KEEP..Problem solved...You're welcome... I'll bet you thought you could toss out the service card and they wouldn't hold you to what YOU agreed to when booking..

I booked a cruise on the Carnival Horizon in October2018. I contacted them to cancel and being told that I will have to pay $100 if I cancel today. The cruise is in August. I do not recall this being a rule as I would not have booked it to begin with. This sounds shady. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Go through the cruise line directly. I should have known better.

i was told that i was getting the premium package for drinks and mid cabin. this was not true. I paid for unlimited drinks which was included in the standard price. I called directly to the cruise line NCL and was told unlimited drinks were included free and their was a premium package and my room was not midship. I cancelled my reservation 5 days later and then was told my refund was to be in full. i received my AX bill and i was refunded 50% i called the travel agent and she is not picking up her phone. i will pursue this until i get my total refund back and post my story everywhere and tell everyone regarding my experience. this is as of 1/15/19

Promises broken!

I booked a 4night cruise on their site because they offered a bonus of "up to $750" payable as an Amazon gift card or an on board credit. After jumping through all the hoops and spending a great deal of time trying to find out how to collect my bonus on the site, I finally gave up and was told that to qualify for the full $750, I would have had to book a cruise costing $10,001 dollars or more. Since my cruise package was a short 4 day cruise that cost me just over $1,100, my bonus would be $50. Wow!!! Really?? $50 dollars?? What should I buy with this ginormous windfall? Seriously, I'm not stupid enough to think that they were going to give me a bonus of $750. on a $1,100 cruise, but I really was expecting at least $100. So much for doing business with 3rd parties. Also, they advertise a 110% guarantee of being the lowest price, and that wasn't true either. They charge the same exact fare and fees as the cruise line. They got me once, but never again. Next time, I'' book directly with the cruise line.

Never use them ! We booked a cruise. Paid deposit. Called in because we got a message about a drink package deal. Phone operator talked us into changing to carnival. Then we called back to add a person on our feb carnival cruise. They said it was full and soonest would be end of March. We declined the march. Next thing you know they charge my CC 500$. Payment was not due for months. Called them. They refunded all but 100$. Kept calling back. Always told they would refund it. Never happened. Then came time to pay for feb carnival. They cancelled it and booked us in March ! We did not want the change. And now we had no Feb cruise. Called Carnival. They re booked us. Now cheap cruises is charging me 200$ more to pay for the feb and March cancellations. After 1 hour with them online they refuse to refund any money. So pissed off !!

We were told the dining package was included for the length of the cruise and the women who booked it not only said it was for the length of the cruise she named about five or so restaurants that were options. Then they said after listening to the tape that I was not allowed hrsrcthe tape. The reason I was not allowed to hear it is because she 100% told my sister and I on a three way call, that the dinners were nightly and included. Then we had to each pay a 100.00 cancellation fee. Beware..... cheap cruises.com lies lies lies!!!

They are making a killing off people charging $100.00 for cancellation even it has been 10 MINTUES since you booked. I think that is CRAZY. I called the call center and got no help at all. had rude rep. and was not informed they would charge the $100.00 was only told $25.00 and that was fine. Why in the world would I pay $103.00 Deposit to be charged $100.00 to cancel now does that make any sense at all. I can see if it was like 24-48 hours. but even 10 MINTUES. They offered a credit of $100.00 why would I want to go in the future booked through a company like this. Word of mouth can hurt your business and help your business. I give them a 1 on a scale of 1-10 . POOR POOR

I was charged $100.00 for less than 8 hours, after I booked my cruise for cancelation. I was told it would be 25.00 for processing. I called and the call center rep. was rude and unprofessional. why would I want to book another cruise with them. I would never recommend them for anyone. They rip people off. They offered a credit of $100.00 for another cruise at a later date. I asked for a supervisor and she was not helpful at all. The lady said if you called back 10 minutes after booking you would still be charged. I think that is CRAZY. Now I can understand if they had 24-48 hour time frame I can understand. Maybe I just don't understand, but I think that customer service is very very bad. Word of mouth goes along ways to increase business, and also will hurt it as well. I will make sure the review is a 1

They bait and switch

We booked a family cruise and when we had a family situation come up and had to cancel 8 months months before our cruise, they did not refund all of the money we were told would be refunded when we booked the cruise initially. They said one thing over the phone and did not stick to what they said.

Caveat Emptor "Buyer Beware"

So I booked a cruise for four nights to the Bahamas and was supposed to receive onboard credits from both Cheap Cruises and Carnival but needed to log in to be able to get the onboard credits. Well I called about four times to Cheap Cruises to get the email that never came. Nothing in my junk/spam emails or inbox. Four times they said they sent the email never to come to me - this is just a way for them to lure you in to purchase your cruise from them. Finally I made them give me my Carnival booking number over the telephone.

I will never utilize their services and have filed a complaint with Carnival so they know what type of company is selling their cruises.

It is sad to start something so exciting and fun on a sour note, I am sure we will have fun anyway. This is definitely Bait and Switch as I believe they had not intention of giving out the onboard credits. You do not need to utilize them to book a cruise, same price if you go directly with the cruise line. You will not receive your onboard credits anyway.

So disappointed in my decision to utilize them.

Lied to get us to book

Booked a cruise and it was supposed to include 4 perks. This was the reason we booked with them. We were told by their representative on the phone at the time of booking that the 4 perks WERE included. We found on the day before departing that our reservation did not include all of the perks. Called several times were put on hold for long periods of time and were given no satisfaction. Now we face cancellation charges and also have booked air fare to return to our home city which will be lost because of the error made by Cheap Cruises. Again their representative told us at the time of booking that the perks were included and now they refuse to honor their word.. Definitely will not use them again!!

Booked a cruise online for next March, 2019. Husband decided he didn't want to go so I called to cancel, because I paid extra for cancellation insurance....Joke was on me! If I would have called and made the reservation instead of booking online, I was told she would have given me a cruise that allows for a refund, but to cancel I would have to pay another $100 and they would give me a $400 credit to use within the next to years...so the total charges were $722. and I got that credit, which I will Never use...It's very frustrating! Bottom line....Don't book a cruise with cheap cruises!!! If you do...Make sure you call and book it and find out every detail ahead of time.
